Soir D’Automne

This is a portrait of a yūrei (Japanese ghost) wearing a hitaikakushi (white paper triangle) on her forehead. Her make-up and hair style are inspired by the Heian period (794-1185). She’s surrounded by persimmons which are a very popular fruit in Japan.
